Do you believe you have control? Control is an illusion that we’ve made ourselves believe we have. Unfortunately there is no real way to control any outcome in your life. Don’t get me wrong, there are tried and true concepts and theories that if you follow you’ll most likely be successful, but in essence there are many factors when it comes to building a successful business.
There’s a common misconception when it comes to business, many people make their money by selling get rich quick schemes where you’ll end up sipping fancy drinks on the beach in an exotic location however only a very small fraction of business owner ever even get there. All that is is a mirage to the truth.
Business is hard. If you’re ever going to succeed in business you better put on your working cap and get ready to lose some sleep.
Your new business is just like a new born baby. In the beginning it takes hours and hours of attention. It’ll keep you up at night and sometimes drive you crazy. However if you put in all the hard work and care for it, it’ll grow into a fully functional business that can continue to operate with good management.
My goal is to make sure you understand that in the beginning its hard for everyone. It doesn’t mean you need to give up.
“Winners never quit and quitters never win.”
If you’re someone who’s been in business for awhile now and you still haven’t achieved the success you want then there’s also a reason for that.
“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.”
If you’re still not successful. It’s time for a change. Do something different. Entrepreneurship and business is all about risk taking. Of course I’m not saying jump off a plane without a parachute. I’m saying calculated risk is good. Use your brain a little bit and think of what you can do different to grow your business and try.
Try, try, and keep trying…
Good luck and I wish you success in all your endeavors.
